Travel Advisory ReConTur recommends travel and health insurance be purchased to cover against cancellation fees, lost or damaged luggage and costs arising from acts of God, i.e. Inclement weather, property lost or damaged during tours, etc. We invite you to visit our page www.usa-assist.com/redirect.asp?id=314 where we offer different choices for your travel insurance needs. We highly recommend buying insurance that covers accidents or any health issues you might have during your trip.
For our adventure tours, we require that guests present an accident insurance policy, and upon arrival in Panama, a release of liability document will be signed by all guests. All guests must be over 18 years old, and must be physically able to partake in the activity.
Personal health insurance papers should be brought along with your passport. Passports should be valid for at least six months or more from expiration to travel to Panama. A $5.00 tourist card must be bought from the airline on departure from the United States or in Panama upon arrival. Tourists from other countries should verify if they are required to purchase the $5.00 tourist card.
