Located only 40 minutes from Panama City, travelers will find two indigenous communities living in harmony with nature just off the Panama Canal. Visit the community of Achiote located on the western side of the canal bordering the San Lorenzo National Park. The traditional rural community will be your host for a one of a kind birdwatching experience. Enjoy leisurely hikes to observe wildlife and enjoy nature. Stop for lunch at the new Casca restaurant for traditional cuisine.
